Situated on the east side of Loch Lomond, the property extends to 2173 ha (almost 22km2) and includes the summit of Ben Lomond, Scotland’s most southerly munro (mountain over 3000ft high) and one of the country’s most acclaimed landmarks. It also supports a tenant sheep farm, and is one of the most popular hill walks in Scotland. Much of the property is a site of special scientific interest because it holds remnants of the full range of upland plant communities, from low to high altitude. Scotland's most southerly munro, providing spectacular views of the contrast between the highlands to the north and lowlands to the south.
