As a group of concerned African-Caribbean men, the 100 Black Men of London seek to improve the quality of life in our communities and to enhance educational and economic opportunities through pooling together our collective resources. The Black History Challenge (BHC) is essentially an educational and scholarship programme designed to enhance the study of Black history. It is also intended to increase the interest of young people in knowing the legacy left them, and in living lives worthy of that legacy. The aims of the BHC are to educate young people in schools and the wider community about the significant contributions black people in Britain have made in developing this country as a whole. The BHC is open to all London schools and youth organisations.
