St Giles is in the historic village of Bodiam above the castle, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The church is largely from the 14th century but the base of the tower dates from the 12th century. It is set in a peaceful churchyard away from the hurly burly of the village and tourists. On 14/15 July 2012 there will be a flower festival, Bodiam Past & Present celebrating Bodiam's rich cultural heritage. Entry free, donations to church funds welcome. Teas and Refreshments and Jubilee Plant Sale.
Services are held on 1st and 3rd Sunday each month at 11.15am, where you can be assured of a warm welcome, with a relaxed traditional style of worship and liturgy.
From Bodiam Castle take the road north at top of hill fork right towards Sandhurst. Entrance to church is 1/4 on right opposite Levetts Lane.
