Independent Co-educational Boarding School. Our Memorial Library was built to commemorate former students and staff who died in the Great War. Their names are recorded on plaques in each bay of the Library, and the Block 3 (Year 9) students choose one to research before they visit the battlefields in February. Although the school was only founded in 1893, and did not have a large number of students, some 63 former pupils and 2 members of staff were killed in war service.
