The University of Manchester’s Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre aims to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers by directly engaging them with science at a major UK research facility. A visit to the Centre includes the opportunity to see the world-famous Lovell Telescope at close quarters and explore exhibitions on astronomy and the science carried out at Jodrell Bank Observatory. The Discovery Centre also has a vibrant events programme in which visitors can meet scientists, hear about the latest discoveries and enjoy science shows.

Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre can be found just off the A535 between Holmes Chapel and Alderley Edge, clearly signposted along the nearby roads with brown signs. We are approximately 6 miles from Junction 18 of the M6.
