Bothwell is Scotland’s largest and finest 13th century castle. Part of the original circular keep survives. At Uddingston off the B7071.

Summer (1 April - 30 September), Monday to Sunday, 9.30am-5.30pm Winter (1 October - 31 March), Saturday to Wednesday (closed Thursday and Friday), 9.30am-4.30pm

Accessibility: STB Category 3 - The castle courtyard and display boards are fully accessible. Although uneven in places, all grounds surrounding the castle allow wheelchair access. The castle shop (STB Category 1) is also suitable for wheelchairs.
