Art and Sacred Places (ASP) is a visual arts organisation specialising in commissions and exhibitions for sacred places of all faiths and none. Aiming to stimulate debate about meaning and spirituality, ASP carries out inspirational permanent and more challenging temporary commissions, as well as mutually beneficial interfaith projects. Founded in 1998 it has a portfolio of initiatives working with artists of a high calibre including those of international significance such as Nathan Coley, Richard Wentworth, Deimantas Narkevicius, Rose Finn-Kelcey, Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva and Michael Pinsky. Venues involved have ranged from magnificent Cathedrals, Mosques, Art Galleries and schools to humble community halls.
