China Hall, Original Spode Factory Site Kingsway

The British Ceramics Biennial is a prestigious cultural event taking place in Stoke-on-Trent from 26 September to 8 November 2015. This six-week long festival will present work from the UK’s leading contemporary ceramic artists in a series of new exhibitions and special events in the city, embracing the heritage of Stoke-on-Trent as the home of British ceramics, and celebrating the city’s creative edge as an international centre for excellence in contemporary ceramics.

Tuesday until Saturday 10:00am - 5:00pm. Sunday's 12:00pm - 5:00pm. Occasional Thursday lates until 8:00pm, please check the website.

Travel directions:

By Train The nearest train station is Stoke-on-Trent. This station is a 5-minute walk from the original Spode site in Stoke-on-Trent Town Centre. By Bus First bus services 23/ 23a /3 are ideal to travel to and from the original Spode site. By Car The original Spode Works Visitor Centre is signposted from the A500 easily accessible from junctions 15 and 16 of the M6. These signs will take you to the Elenora Street side of the site. The main entrance for BCB is via Kingsway, which has a large public car park. The satnav postcode for this car park is ST4 1JB.
