Dartmoor Arts is an artist led organisation founded in 2006 with the idea of combining lively critical debate with the very best teaching of skills and techniques. We host a busy summer school week as well as a year round programme of creative workshop events and artists' talks, bringing excellent speakers and tutors to the South West. A programme of short courses and workshops is taking place in 2016. Our Summer Schools take place in Drewsteignton, just a few miles outside of Exeter and should resume in 2017, subject to funding. Next July we again aim to welcome a vibrant community of artists, architects, designers and makers drawn from all corners of the UK and beyond. The summer school provides a creative and supportive environment for emerging and established artists to develop their work and learn new skills.
Dartmoor Arts Project hosts creative workshops and artists events in different venues. Please contact them or check the website for details of events, times, dates and booking.
