The Bradford Bulls Foundation is a registered charity that supports a wide range of activity in the local community particularly in respect of work with children and young people. The Foundation has an active heritage section and has received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund for three projects, the Rugby League Heritage Project, Past Times, a social history of the Odsal Stadium, and the latest project Birch Lane Heroes. Birch Lane Heroes is a three year project to explore the impact of WW1 on Bradford Northern, as then club was then called, its players, staff and community. The project will try to identify and engage decendants of those involved with the club at the time and will engage the community, young and old, in the research and learning about WW1 and the Bradford Northern club.
