With Kieran Stiles, artist Discover how John Piper became involved in a government funded project to record the landscape and life of Great Britain, and learn about his revolutionary mixed-media process of creating interesting textural effects by blending pastel, wax, watercolour and ink. What you will need: Watercolour paper or thick cartridge paper Watercolour brushes; one medium size and one for fine work Watercolour paints Coloured drawing inks Indian Ink Dip pen and/mapping pen Candle wax Oil pastels Graphite A pencil The event will take place online on Zoom and a link to join the event will be shared in advance by email. Booking is essential and tickets are £60 each (£55 concessions).
