Britain's original Dinosaur Museum combines fossils, skeletons and life-size dinosaur reconstructions with hands-on, interactive and cinematic displays to inform and entertain. Reconstructions include the newly interpreted T rex, Deinonychus, Stegosaurus and Triceratops. As well as dinosaurs there are displays on prehistoric mammals featuring particularly the mammoth. The Dinosaur Museum has frequently been featured on TV including Blue Peter and the Tweenies. It has been cited as one of Britain's top ten family museums in recent years.
