Waddesdon Manor is a magnificent French Renaissance-style château housing the Rothschild Collection of art treasures. The garden is renowned for its seasonal displays, colourful shrubs and mature trees. There is an ornate Rococo-style Aviary housing rare and exotic birds, a superb cellar of wines, licensed restaurants, gift and wine shops. Events are organised throughout the year, including Christmas period.

Grounds reopen on Sat 1 Feb 2020. House is closed for conservation and cleaning until Sat 28 Mar 2020. Grounds: Winter 1 Feb - 22 Mar 2020 Grounds 10am-4pm, Wed-Sun Feb half-term: Sat 15-Sun 23 Feb (inc Mon 17 & Tue 18) Gardens, Woodland Playground, Aviary, Wine Cellars, Stables Café, Treaterie & Manor Shop. Last return bus to the car park is 4.30pm. Grounds ticket valid 10am-4pm on the day of your visit. Available in advance or on the day. The grounds open on the following additional days: 10am-4pm: Mon 17 & Tue 18 Feb and 10am-5pm: Mon 6, Tue 7, Fri 10, Mon 13 Apr & Fri 8 May House: 28 Mar - 1 Nov 2020 House 12pm-4pm, Wed-Fri (inc Good Friday 10 Apr) 11am-4pm, Sat & Sun and Bank Holiday Mondays 12pm-4pm, Bank Holiday Friday 8 May To see the house fully last recommended time 2.30pm. By train: The nearest train stations are Aylesbury or Aylesbury Vale Parkway. Trains run to and from Marylebone station. There is a free bus service to and from Aylesbury Vale Parkway station, for the main season from March to October. By road: For sat nav please use postcode HP18 0JH, the entrance to Waddesdon Manor is via Silk Street.
