A museum (reg.charity No.290431), run by un-paid volunteers and 2 part-time paid staff, depicting village life on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fens from the Saxons to the 60's. The displays are housed in various attractive buildings including an 18th Century timber framed barn. Stevens' Mill, a Grade II* Listed windmill next to the museum site, is part of the museum and is fully restored thanks to a Heritage Lottery Fund grant and several other donations. Visitors can tour inside with one of our Mill Guides for a small additional charge. Further details about the museum can be found on our website www.burwellmuseum.org.uk
