An experimental archaeological site of world wide standing, open seven days a week (in the summer season) to the public and groups. Displaying on-going constructions of buildings based on real sites, crops from prehistory, and rare breeds of animals. Our timeline extends from the Stone Age over 5000 years ago, through Iron Age, Roman and new for 2016, a Saxon Longhouse. Exploring ancient technologies, and allowing 'hands on' activities for visitors. You can also join us for a festival, special event or ancient skill workshop.
