Guildford Museum

Castle Arch

The museum was founded in 1898 and now houses the largest collection of archaeology, local history and needlework in Surrey. There is a well-stocked shop selling a range of local history books and gifts.

Travel directions:

The Museum is situated half way down Quarry Street at the bottom of the High Street. It is a short walk from Guildford railway station By road: from London join the M25 and follow it round until Junctiion 10, then continue on the A3 until you are south of Guildford. Nearest carparks: Millbrook, Castle By train: the nearest station is Guildford, approximately a 10 min walk to the Museum.
